Epiphone casino wiring

I've seen people ditch all-shielded-wire harnesses for 'premium' separate-wire ones, and then wonder why their guitar is noisier. If not I would possibly look for a shielded-wire one (you can get epiphone ones on ebay). I would keep your existing harness, especially if it is all shielded wire. The only Gibsons that came standard with it were the ES-345 and the ES-355-SV, and no Epiphones came standard with it. Your caps and tone pots are probably wired differently, like on this Sheraton, but I wouldn't be touching them if I were you. I've seen a picture of a Byrdland with the Varitone and stereo output, and at least one Super 400-CES was built that way, but, as the Stereo/Varitone option was never publicized, it wasn't used much. Just ditch the phase switch on bridge volume shown (wire bridge pickup hot direct to series switch, and ground the ground side).

The CTS push-pulls are a few mm less deep (good for fitting in solid body cavities with limited depth) but they are wider so not good for f-holes (and a PITA to solder compared to the alphas).Īdding series with push-pull on neck volume would look like this, but with your P90s. They use conventional push-pulls (alpha ?) with the lugs on the bottom, not the newer CTS-style with the lugs on the side. The upper end Pro series Epiphone semi-hollow 335 and 339 have push-pulls.
